Description

So
First things First, This is a coloring/painting of this WIP sketch which was intended as a tattoo commission, but because the guy didnt like the helmet i had to redo into this :
But since i prefered my orginal design, i kept it for future coloring, and since deviantArt had spartan Llamas i thought i might as well make this Spartan a bit out of the ordinary xD

So in my mind he became a Troll Slayer, a devoted protector of dA, guardian of deviants and fighting off unwanted interweb trollz :D

Its all for the lulz of course, so if you go in full view, you will see the dA logo on his tunic button, and a likl dA spartan llama guarding (his smelly feet?)
The inscription on the front of his shield are the initials of dA written in ancient greek -> Αποκλείνουσα Τέχνη which is literally Deviant Art translated ;)
and the sentence on the side of the shiled is again ancient greek written in its archaic 1st greek alphabet, saying No-one is born an Artist.

Coloring the old WIP had been on my mind the entire week, and i sort of leaped into it on Sunday, and never stopped thinking about it, which wasnt the best of things really, cos i have a 1500 word essay to deliver tomorw D:
but hell you cant stop the artistic flow once it starts !

The amount of things i experimented with and learnt...!
i decided to go all abstract and realistic, but wanted to keep the lineart, so im sure it came out nice, the shield especially looks wicked :D

I used many custom brushes from Rahll i think, and maybe an imaginefx pack, but the rain brushes were the icing on the cake if you ask me ;)

FULL VIEW PLEAZZE !!!

Fave and comments are welcome
critique it if you can ;D

:fear: Huaahhh, this guy is frightening!
:D (Was there a dA temple in ancient Greece, too?)

I have to say your drawing skills have improved A LOT over the last months! Way to go! :)
